    Re: Bale

It’s not like he was huffing and puffing after 30minutes of football. He played 80+ minutes against Ukraine and now he’s playing and training regularly.

I predict he’ll play at least 70 minutes in every game. Possibly subbed off to give James/Wilson/Johnson a run against tired defenders.

Johnson, Wilson and Bale have to start for me. James not fulfilling his potential.

Looked pretty fit yesterday. I can't see any reason (presuming he avoids injury) of being fully match fit by the start of the world cup

For me, it’s more important getting Ramsey on the pitch

Absolutely. Looked like we missed him, or Wilson. I’d play one of those two through the middle over James and Johnson in a front 3

2 goals and an assist in the last 3 games against Belgium & Holland, and you want to bench Johnson?

                  Brennan is a must
Speed wins games and he’s got pace in abundance along with his ability to take players on and terrifying defence’s 👍

I like his unpredictability, and he could have scored a goal too. I'm sure he would see it as a bad miss, considering his usual accuracy in such circumstances. 2 goals and an assist in consecutive games against top class opposition is in the upper echelons, and that's when the big clubs start taking notice.

I thought we played really well against a top ranked side
All we took out of the performance were more positives heading to Qatar 🤩👍

I do not hold it against him for taking the easy option (plus the ££’s)

I can't wait for players like Charlie Savage to join the party. We are in transition now, and hopefully we will see an influx of youngsters after the Word Cup, so that we can start rebuilding for future tournaments. It's time for Page to ditch his old mates and move on.

Totally agree, and he should be ditching them now and integrating the youngsters into the squad. Is Johnny Williams going to offer more than Savage or Gunter more than Fin Stevens or Jack Ashworth?
