Hes obviously not going to be anywhere near match fit or anywhere near his best.

Ben Davies has got to be one of the most important players considering he is the only player in the squad playing elite (topish of prem and UCL) club football.

I agree. Hes probably Wales best player now.

We should be sending our best and fittest players to Qatar, not friends of the manager or injured players with past glories. I don't see England, USA or Iran doing anything like this, and the team announcement next week will be interesting.

Our best chance for any kind of success rests with a foundation based around these players, who have all been playing regularly in the Top 5 European leagues, and can easily complete 3 games in 8 days.

But Bale ( even in his current state ) would be getting in the USA and Iran teams

May as well just put a cardboard cut out on the wing

It's all very romantic to hope he's going to win us games and that he deserves that final Swan song but this is top level competition not a butlins dog show

I don't mind giving Bale a go, but he's not the saviour he once was. I can see us playing with a settled core of defensive players, with a heavy rotation of advanced players depending on who is match fit or even half fit.

We are playing against teams ranked 5, 16 & 20 by FIFA, all within 8 days. Bale, Ramsey, Allen & Wilson are all lacking match fitness, along with a few others.

he has hardly kicked a ball in club games, sure, but to say he has hardly kicked a ball in months is crazy, you do realise he still trains, still keeps himself fit

he hasn't played much club football for years, but still turns is on for Wales

Just incase we have forgotten, this was only 7 months ago ( when he was also " not match fit " and hardly kicked a ball for RM

Like I said 3 games in 8 days against FIFA Top 20 ranked opponents, with none of the old guard to carry him as they are all knackered too. I think we might be seeing more of Moore than expected, with two wide players who are lacking form/fitness. It's not great after waiting over 60 years is it.

I would be happy with 60 - 70 mins of Bale in them games, maybe Give him a rest for the 2nd 1/2 in the last game if we have qaulified

I am sure no-one thinks we are going to get the full 90 out of him for all the games
