I would be happy with 60 - 70 mins of Bale in them games, maybe Give him a rest for the 2nd 1/2 in the last game if we have qaulified

I am sure no-one thinks we are going to get the full 90 out of him for all the games

We should have a sweepstakes for the total number of minutes over the 3 games

USA and Iran are decent teams but that is it, the world cup rankings mean nothing, there is no way Iran are the 23rd best team in the world in reality.

Austria and Ukraine are equal or better than both of those sides, the key thing for me is not being reliant on Bale. If we can get a comfortable lead in any of the games, he'll needs to come off, if the other good players that we have put in their fair share then we should easily be comfortable enough without Bale for a 20-30 mins each game.

We are Wales and this is the first time we've qualified in a fair number of our lifetimes.

This should be a celebration.
I honestly don't care if we lose every game.
We've made it.

On what basis? He's hardly kicked a ball in months. We will be competing against teams in Qatar with squads who are 100% fit.

Gareth Bale will be as fit as a fiddle, anyone doubting him or questioning his place in the side must have rocks in their head. His mere presence on the pitch gives our opponents something to be wary of. The group games are three one and a half hour stints, hardly a marathon. It’s about 10.15 now, our group games all together, if today, will be all done & dusted by 2.45pm. Think of it that way……anyway the focus on Bale will allow Colwill to blossom :hehe:

I've heard that Manchester City have been looking into this new 3-games-a-season sporting phenonium, and in 2022/23 they are only going to play Haaland in the Champions League semi-final and final.

I know this is headed 'Bale' but did anyone see our Keifer take two beauties last weekend?

He looks full of it and is clearly enjoying having 'made it' in the latter part of his career.

Bale can take it easy dropping deep and providing the ammunition for Moore who I expect to score in all 3 group games

I did, and that's why I said we might be seeing more of him than expected. Not sure if he would score in every game though, he's no Jonniesta!
