      Italy v England

After another inept performance from England tonight we have nothing to fear from them come the World Cup. Provided we are at full strength we'll tear them a new ass-hole. Your thoughts please folks.....

They'll drag us down to their level and beat us by the odd goal.

I think you can get arrested and thrown in the chokey for that in Qatar.

I hope not. With a fully fit team I can see us winning. We need to be at full strength though. What are the press in the USA saying about their chances i.e. the USA not England lol ?

This is a winnable group for us as far as I'm concerned.
If we can't beat the likes of Iran and the USA, we shouldn't be there.
England are the only team I'm wary of and I'd hope for a result against them at the moment.

Fingers crossed the Germans batter them Monday. Need to keep their confidence low. At least hope they fail to score again.
Will hardly be easy but we have a chance and the more pressure on them and the manager going into the tournament the better.
Can’t believe they’re still picking maguire mind you’d think they’d be able to choose players getting regular club football

The USA press are very reticent about the World Cup thus far. I think it has a lot to do with Pulisic's relative position in the Premier League. Can we call it a failure? "Underwhelming" perhaps? And even now, they don't have an obvious squad.

They've always been great athletes, but they're getting smarter and more skillful. But like us, they don't have strength in depth. I don't think they fancy it much this time around. Especially having finished behind Canada in qualifying.

And I’m sure people in America and Iran are thinking the same about us. Iran definitely and probably America will be more at home in the conditions than us and I hope there aren’t too many in Wales who share your opinion that we don’t deserve to be there if we can’t beat tAmerica and Iran, both of them are far more used to World Cup tournaments than us and the Americans are above us in the world rankings. It’s a group we can qualify from I reckon, but some cooler weather than expected would help us a lot.

England will walk this group winning all three games. Anyone who thinks differently must be deluded. Take no notice of these Nations League results, they bear no significance on what will happen out in Qatar.

I agree, it’s one of the easiest groups they could have had. It’s looking more and more likely that Bale and Ramsey won’t be fully fit for this World Cup, which means we’ll be one of the weakest sides in the tournament.

They will have an impact in terms of patience and positivity towards Southgate. We all know what the media is like, especially after two good tournaments.
