    Bench Brennan Brigade?

He's our best young player in a generation.

The lad's amazing. Very exciting to watch such a naturally gifted player.

I came to the same conclusion after watching him play one half of an FA Cup tie earlier in the year.

Interesting if you can get him, Bale and Ramsey in the side. Page loves DJ because he works his socks off.

James used to only be able to play 45 mins for Swansea. He used to burn himself out. He beefed up a lot at Man Utd but didn't really push on and I wasn't surprised to see him end up at Leeds and then Fulham Haven't seen him play for Fulham but whenever I've watched him for Wales he does run around a lot but that's as much as I can say about him these days. Johnson is already head and shoulders above James at his peak (yes, I think he's peaked) and still climbing.

Page isn't my kind of manager (who is? :hehe:) but I see why he's been given the extension. Warnock liked players who ran around a lot. Not going tonight but will watch it on the box.

Page is mine :hehe:. I think James is great, I really like him but he's so frustrating. He gets in so many good positions and then completely fluffs his lines. He's a pressing machine, too. That's why he plays. Johnson is a much better footballer who works less hard. I'm interested to see what Page does for a really big game, who he goes for. I think its getting to the stage where you can't leave Brennan out.

Dan James is a speed merchant with very little football intelligence. Probably works better Wales than he did a club like United because teams don’t sit deep against us so to have his pace ok the counter is great. That’s said, as much as threat as he is on the counter you can’t trust him to make the right decisions when in possession. He’s not a player who plays with his head up.

Funnily enough, that's exactly what I'm gonna say if he has a great game tonight! :hehe:

I agree (did you just add that or did I miss it?).

I like DJ, doesn't give any defender a extra second, they know he will be pressing them, thats a massive plus to any team
He also has the speed to get past players, if only he had the composure after he has done the hard work ( I have a player like his playing for my team, gets past the player time and time again, crap and crossing and even worse when 1 on 1 with a keeper, but she is always on he team sheet because of the pressure she puts on defenders and the release she gives our defenders

I think his management style is similar to his playing career, a dependable journeyman who never quite set the football world alight.

Watching him for Wales his pace was/is amazing. I actually think one the best games he played though was for the Jacks against Man City during an FA Cup tie when Potter was in charge. He was unplayable that day. They deserved to win that (and almost did). I've always found him frustrating since then as I expected him to refine his game which imo didn't happen.

Yeah remember that game he murdered them on the counter attack

He's a strange one. I honestly blank when I think about him as a player.
