I fast forward through the analysis but I do have a habit of rewinding if I see them laughing, hoping it’s something funny Lineker has said to Shearer of Wright……it never is.

What would Brian Clough think of it today, considering he thought everything was over analysed 40 years ago. Great interview but 3 mins in is his criticism of analysts.

In another video he talks about long ball football. He says "We don't play in the clouds, if God had wanted football to be played in the clouds he'd have put grass there". Fantastic quote!

I don't even bother watching Match of the Day, half the time. Unless there's been some belter of a game, then it doesn't really hold a lot of attention for me. Whenever I watch it, I can't help but think "How the hell do those two earn so much, for doing so little?".

Not quite the same subject, but in my opinion, EFL on Quest (or wherever it is) isn't quite the same without Colin Murray.
