Any players to look out for? Beach (Chelsea), Beck (Liverpool), and Savage (Man Utd) are the obvious ones. Pity there's no Luke Harris, Jordan James or Chem Campbell.

9-2!? I thought you meant against Austria then...and just checked it was the Under 19s against Gibraltar that won 9-2. Impressive nonetheless..

9-2!? I thought you meant against Austria then...and just checked it was the Under 19s against Gibraltar that won 9-2. Impressive nonetheless..

Yes, it followed on from a 0-0 draw with Hungary and 2-0 loss to Ireland though in a mini tournament that is in essence a qualifying group. The Irish definitely finished above them and, given the way they were rushing back to restart the game again after they’d scored, I get the feeling that a seven goal winning margin over Gibraltar wasn’t enough to take them above Hungary.

Yes, it followed on from a 0-0 draw with Hungary and 2-0 loss to Ireland though in a mini tournament that is in essence a qualifying group. The Irish definitely finished above them and, given the way they were rushing back to restart the game again after they’d scored, I get the feeling that a seven goal winning margin over Gibraltar wasn’t enough to take them above Hungary.

2 more goals would have done it I think. Some of the 3rd place teams do go through apparently, but not sure what the likelihood of that is
