Certainly not holding back on why Steve Morison was sacked - they are taking it as read that he went because of a personality clash.

Re: A bit of Swazz.
Never got into The View From The Ninian for some reason - can’t say I dislike it, just never listened to it much. I’m surprised by what they’re saying on a Bit of Swazz - Steve Morison’s reaction would be interesting if gets to hear about it.Originally posted by jon1959 View PostI always listen to A Bit Of Swazz, The View From The Ninian and Elis James' Feast Of Football - but the first two are much too fond of treating rumours as facts. It grates.

Re: A bit of Swazz.
He’s not on it any more, they’ve got two young guys presenting it now and they’ve had Jason Mohammed and the guy who does the stadium announcements (think it was him anyway) on as guests.Originally posted by OurManFlint II View PostNathan Blake grates lol, i can't listen to him for more than 20 minutes.

Re: A bit of Swazz.
Nathan Blake would sometimes come out with real insights into the club, the team, player psychology and especially analysis of play. When it was good it was very good. But too often he didn't do his homework, forgot players names, and fell back on lazy tropes about the club that were no longer right or relevant. I haven't really formed a view about the new Blakey-free Swazz, but I think it is probably poorer without him despite the inconsistency of his contributions.
The View From The Ninian has always sounded like three mates down the pub. They do sometimes fall into ITK nonsense, but it is generally entertaining if not very informative. The video interviews with ex players are good though.
Elis James FOF is the best of the lot for me. The guests are usually excellent. Elis James brings wit, enthusiasm, professionalism and Jackcentricity - but not at the expense of the other Welsh clubs or national team. Ewan Roberts is getting netter now he doesn't spend as much time fawning over Swansea City. Danny Gabbidon is the star though - not because he is Cardiff but because he usually gives some properly thought out analysis, and is cautious about rumours.
But maybe if the Gabbs and/or Ledley as coach rumours are true we may get some of that on the training ground?

Ah, interesting.
I found Blakey a bit annoying as well, which in turn annoyed me, as I wanted to like it and him!
I'll try it again.

Re: A bit of Swazz.
Enjoy Elis James, i thought Ewan was great craic sticking the boot in recently about the "swansea way" lol, my only complaint is sometimes Elis let's them ramble a little too much and with Gabbidon (who is a god) he goes round and repeats the same point. At least this season we are not getting a LFC podcast :hehe:Originally posted by jon1959 View PostNathan Blake would sometimes come out with real insights into the club, the team, player psychology and especially analysis of play.
