Re: Hull moving the goalposts this weekend
Meanwhile at Hull City vs. Birmingham City, they're sawing the goals because they were two inches too big

Re: Hull moving the goalposts this weekend
A couple of years back I had a word with the groundsman on Pontypridd Towns pitch when they still played at Ynysangharad park ant told him the goals were at least three inches too low. They checked and they were 3 inches too low. I was only ever a parks level goalie and just about 5feet 10 , and could when stretching almost touch the bottom of the cross bar. But at Ponty I could touch the top of the bar.
After the Wigan game last week, when walking through the park I thought I’d see how accurate the crossbars were again. still too low on both football pitches. I suppose it’s only parks football so it doesn’t really matter, but there’s probably very few goals in amateur football that are correct.
