New manager bounce doesn't always work. Ask Liz Truss

We've not got a left back and no suitable cover for Romeo, the first team with everyone fit is ok, but the back up's are not good enough, whoever we get will struggle to get consitancy with this small squad.

One week we look good, another injury and the next we look terrible.

I'd give the catering manager a go.

We actually have a big squad. Its bigger than last year. However, three of them have been out injured since the beginning of the season - Colwill, Davies and Adams. Other injuries have also been suffered recently in respect of Etete, Collins, Romeo, Bagan. Last night, apart from the ridiculous penalty decision and sending off, NG also had to go off at half time injured. Any team would struggle at times under those scenarios.

Don't give Mehmet any ideas. I'm going for Teddy Sheringham, he has a Millwall link.

They are normal scenarios, every team have loads of players out, it's a big squad game these days and the better squads rise to the top as the injuries set in. Adams and Collins are a massive loss as was Romeo, Colwill and Davies are usually reserves, Bagan and Etete are the back up to the reserves. The sqaud lacks quality outside the first eleven especially at fullback, Centre halves and Strikers.

It is what it is, we look a mid table team, and we will continue to be inconsistent if we suffer any first team injuries.

We should at least look like we're trying to play a bit and we should have better shape and be more organised in defence. The last two games have been shambolic. Hudson looked like he'd lost all confidence and was out of ideas in his post-match interview last night.

I want Hudson to succeed, but he just doesn't come across as a manager. He got "assistant" written all over him. I wish we'd stuck with Morison until a proper replacement became available.

Hudson to drop back to #2, David Wagner to be installed as new manager next week. Just saying!

Huddersfield were a decent team under them and I wouldn't be disappointed with this pairing.
It's a shame for Hudson, if two referees mistakes will ultimately cost him the job.
I'm not suggesting that we would have beaten QPR on Wednesday if we had 11 players on the pitch, but we'll never know.
If Hudson manages to ride this through I hope he gets a very experienced coach to assist him, at least that will help as he makes the transition to full time manager.
A draw on Sunday is all I'm hoping for, and once that's out of the way he can get on with moulding the side how he sees fit, and hopefully adding a couple of players in January.
Soon Colwill, Davies and Bagan will be back which will give him further options as they develop.

                        Re: New manager bounce

After Swansea 2 very winnable home games, 3 before the WC.

If he can get 7 to 9 points in the next 5 games (3 home fixtures) the job is his. I don't see any change until then the WC unless we don't win any of the next 3 games and even then, we might stumble to the WC before a change.

What will happen however is bounce around winning and losing till the WC, keep Hudson and then sack him January 28th after letting him sign 3 new players and not hire a new manager till mid-feb.
