Re: Next five games (four at home)

On reflection (after yesterdays result) I’d like to amend my prediction to six. I think we’ll still struggle with sides with any real quality.

Second half was a perfect example of the difference a slight increase in intensity makes. I think the players have been coached too much on patient build up so they allow the other team to get back into their shape and lose all momentum.

Robinson play’s yesterday and he scores at least two. Surely it’s time to give Etete a run, he can’t be worse than Harris and Watters.

Be positive 2 wins, 3 draws, undefeated in 5, 9 points

Can still only see us sneaking a win against Hull but could also see us losing all the matches.

A few more injuries (which is likely) will make things much worse. We've no Robinson either. I don't think we'll see Colwill or Davies until after the WC if ever. I think we'll be in the drop zone by the start of it.

Pedro summed it up well in another post. Zero creativity in the side. Where are the goals coming from and who's going to set them up? We've gone soft at Cardiff in every area of the club and the park.

It's a f*cking disgrace we haven't got an experienced manager lined up.
We're on 3 and I'm hoping we'll pick up another. It's going to be tight though.

Edit: that Robinson strop could cost us and pile the pressure on now. Thank the gods for that result against Rotherham.

Hull game is massive, don’t win that one we’re in real trouble (unless of course we turn over Sunderland and Sheff Utd) but I’m resigned to losing both those

How many points do we get out of the next five? Crucial run of games with four out of the five at home.

                I think we’ll get 4 points
                Rotherham - Win

So it's 6 now. That's 2 more already than I thought we'd get (is that even grammar?). Yesterday was a very good result. This is why I don't bet (as well as being a tight bast*ard).

I’m pleasantly surprised by the return so far.

Re: Next five games (four at home)

Beat Hull and we have a free hit v Sheff Utd.

I would have taken 7 points from the five games as a good return. So if we could get a win on Tuesday I'd be very happy with 9 points and would take anything next Saturday as a bonus.

My zero prediction looking a bit foolish now.
Be great to pick up a win v Hull now.

I think what this thread indicates is how little quite a few posters know about the team, players. manager and football in general. Plus that some posters are so pessimistic and negative that they find it impossible to shake themselves out of it.

It's a shame Wintle and Kipre are suspended but with Robinson back i'm quietly confident.
