    Re: Greg Cunningham

Bournemouth have picked up just 11 points over the past 10 games (the same as us) and still have a 5 point cushion over team in 7th.

The only sides they have beaten in that 10 games are Wycombe and Birmingham, and they drew against Stoke who are one of just 6 sides to have a worse record than them over the same period - two others being Wycombe and Brum.

Boro have picked up just 2 more points over the 10 game stretch - the period in which both Bournemouth and us sacked the manager and Birmingham released the dreaded statement supporting theirs - picked up just 1 more point than Brum over past 8 games, and are actually in relegation spots over past 6 and 4 game periods. Didn't Warnock have a dodgy period over winter here in our promotion year? No wonder he was looking for reinforcements.

I do wonder if Cunningham could have done better in this system? He did look decent enough but can’t rely on him because of the being forever on the treatment bench.
Joe Bennett scored the winning goal in our last match!

It was his first goal since 2017!

He’s fine for the championship a solid C performer every week. Hopefully this new formation will support benefit his biggest strength (stamina) and limit his biggest weakness (positioning)

Bennett has been excellent for years. he won Warnock over with his defending and is better on the ball than any of our other recent left backs.
a much better player than Cunningham who was one of the biggest wastes of money (in a hotly contested category)
          one goal.doesnt change that.
