    Re: SAS Rougue Heroes

Look at the comments under the trailer, fairly positive.

"I’m amazed that it’s taken this long to tell this incredible story on screen.
If these guys had been Yanks you would never heard anything else.
The early SAS we straight out of Elizabethan England, they were basically pirates fighting a very private war.
An eclectic mix of posh boys and geysers.
If your not British you will have no idea of how lethal a mix that is.
I just hope they get the tone right, these blokes were bloody insane."

Geysers, now that’s something they could have done with in that desert:hehe:

We watched them all this week and I thought it was excellent. I had heard before that Paddy Mayne was a nutcase but I had not realised how much had done. Irish and Lions Rugby International and professional boxer.

Also I had not realised that Randolph Churchill (Winston's only son) had gone on one of their night raids.

Mike Sadler, who is the baby-faced blonde one, is still alive at 102.

              Amazing just found this

Mike Sadler was one of the original SAS rogues who fought Nazis behind enemy lines, outnumbered and outgunned, he once escaped capture from German troops and trekked 100-miles across the desert to safety
