Re: Mark Hudson
We're blaming Morison now are we?
The cheap option put in place by the board despite having no experience and asking him to rebuild a squad on buttons, reduce the wage bill and play more attractive football to boot.
If we have a load of $hit left after the Morison spell then it is at least in part due to the all singing, all dancing transfer committee. It is either that they feel they're qualified to oversee transfers and sign them off or not. If they don't have the knowledge then what are they doing there? You can't play at running a football club even though we seem to be doing in many areas. As with a lot of things at City the people at the top love a bit of adulation when things go right but wash their hands of any blame when it goes wrong. If transfers have gone wrong then it lands at the feet of the transfer committee. Simple as that.
In no other organisation would top management keep getting decisions wrong in relation to middle managers and lower without having to take responsibility. I'm not sure how many managerial balls ups the board here can commit without fans waking up and smelling the coffee.
