Re: Gary Neville Hypocritical
Top Knob alert! (not Gary Neville)
Gary Neville is not a socialist.
He is a Labour supporting capitalist, often disgusted by the government slavishly supported by LOM:
‘I’m not a socialist, I’m a capitalist,’ the former Manchester United defender turned Sky Sports commentator and plutocrat businessman told the world on Instagram this week. ‘I believe in entrepreneurialism. I believe in companies making profit. I believe in lower taxes. And I also believe that distribution of profit should be spread amongst us.’
'I believe in private education. I was state-educated, but my two children now go to private school… Yes, I travel first class on the train. I’m not going to apologise.’
Companies House records show that his businesses have assets in the region of £70 million. He has interests in a hotel, an estate agency, restaurants and a media production company. He is also part owner of a loss-making football team – Salford FC – that has required millions in funding simply to stay afloat.
From May 2022
If you judge a man on what he does and not just what he says, then it seems obvious multimillionaire Labour activist Gary Neville is in reality a Tory. ‘I’m not a socialist, I’m a capitalist,’ the former Manchester United defender turned Sky Sports commentator and plutocrat businessman told the world on Instagram this week.

Re: Gary Neville Hypocritical
Whilst neville earns more than we can dream of I am happy to hear him as a so called champagne socialist having a go at the conservatives , it's good to hear
He could have turned into a horrible tax evading tory creep like Gary Barlow
Imagine having to listen to him spouting off about Maggie Thatcher whilst saying he was a working class success story

Hows an Eton education working for the Conservatives? Fantastic Education and good politicians don’t go hand in hand.Originally posted by ToTaL ITK View PostBut i'm not interested in a defenders opinions of any political party, He lacks the education and political involvement for me to have any

Personally, I would like to see a legally binding definition of what a good politician is, and and how they are expected to behave and serve their communities and citizens (not subjects). This, tied to a legally binding constitution (minus the church and monarchy) and a legally binding election manifesto (whether that is at a party level or personal one).Originally posted by UNDERHILL1927 View PostIndeed but they’re far from “good” politicians.
Nobody should vote in any election until this is the bare minimum.
F*ck the Tories btw.

Yes, unless someone is highly educated they should never, ever have an opinion when it comes to politics.Originally posted by ToTaL ITK View PostBut i'm not interested in a defenders opinions of any political party, He lacks the education and political involvement for me to have any

He should concentrate on football and ideally not even have the gall to vote.

Agreed mate, I’ll do x, y and z if elected. Get elected and do the complete opposite.Originally posted by Citizen's Nephew View PostPersonally, I would like to see a legally binding definition of what a good politician is, and and how they are expected to behave and serve their communities and citizens (not subjects). The whole system needs ripping up, it’s beyond a joke.
The one thing I really can’t get my head around (and I have to be careful as a civil servant, therein lies part of the problem) is that there’s no money for pay rises YET THE MPs HAVE CONTINUED TO HAVE THEM FOR YEARS!!!
That to me is reason enough to protest in the streets but we do nothing (and I count myself in that). That’s the poorest kind of “leadership” I’ve ever seen.
There will always be corruption, but how they are able to get away with the brazen amount they are at the moment is beyond me.
