Wouldn't be too concerned about that.
    Getting match-fit against the yanks.
Not sure why some don't expect us to steam-roller them to be honest.

Because they’re a decent team that are ranked higher than we are, that’ll be it.

Do you think they're better than us?
        I certainly don't.
If we can't beat a shite side like the US, we have no right to stay in this tournament.
        We will beat them though.
        And England.

Not watched them mate but the rankings would suggest they are at least similar to us. They have some quality players for sure.

I think the US are a good side and certainly don't think we'll steam roller them, but I think it's also fair to say their ranking is usually inflated by them playing some pretty poor teams in their qualifying campaigns. In the not too distant past they've been ranked as high as 4th when they've never been anywhere near 4th best in the world

Same goes for Mexico, our reserve side beat them in a friendly yet they're in 13th

Yeah the rankings aren’t black and white but we definitely can’t write them off. Some quality players that can make the difference.

They both finished behind Canada in qualifying. They did look poor but they’re young and fast

Mexico are historically better than the US by a country mile.
I think the US' FIFA ranking is massively over-inflated.
That's not to say that they can't give us a game, but I'd be very surprised and very disappointed if we can't beat them relatively comfortably at least.

Well up to now we never have beaten them comfortably. As long ago as 1950 the knocked England out.

Why are you telling others not to talk shite whilst talking utter bollocks?
Are you suggesting the USA are deserving of their spot in the current FIFA rankings?
Are you suggesting they're better than us and as good as England, which your previous posts seem to allude to?
Wake up Cleve, I had you down as having a bit more sense than that, but you're talking through your ****.

So none of the important ones then. What a relief.

I don't think we'll beat them comfortably. We might not beat them at all. I have us DDL and then home. We'll soon see.

I’m astonished at the complacency of some regarding this USA match.
