He’s out of his depth. Way out of his depth. All the pre tournament media attention has got him thinking he’s better than he is. He seriously under estimated the opposition tonight. They wouldn’t have scored had they played till next Monday. It’s now about the Iran game, because neither them or USA will get anything from Southgate’s wonders.

Why? We just need to beat Iran and hope. If we beat Iran, there’s loads of pressure on USA. Let’s hope England win, they might put their feet up for the last game

I said he should have been replaced before the tournament, we haven’t played well for some time. We come across stupidly naive in some games. Todays line up was just stupid, this squad needs a refresh after this World Cup and he isn’t the man to do it.

No, I think England will win all of their games comfortably. It'll boil down to whoever can beat Iran by the greater margin and not lose to England as heavily.

Weve got a point which puts us in a great position to qualify for the last 16 in the World Cup and people want him out.

I think he made mistakes with the squad and selection tonight but if we get through this group and I think we will then its an incredible achievement.

Yeah I agree. I think Iran next for us is a big advantage. I really dont see loads of goals in that USA side.

As long as we are positive we should be in a strong position by Friday evening.

Weird criticism. He admitted he got it wrong, changed it, and I think they were lucky we didn’t beat them.
