Virgin Media/O2 Query

I'm guessing only those who have Virgin media may be able to answer this ! Anyway ..

We have a Virgin package deal that included mobile phone[sim] - virtually free. Negotiated down from £147 to £75, but have 'ported' mobile across to O2 as part of deal. This is £25pm. Still a big saving, but whilst the contracts are separate, I'm guessing any attempt to move from O2 could invalidate the overall deal. Another thing. The people at Virgin say that they're now moving all their mobile business to O2, yet there are Virgin mobile deals still on offer.

Has anyone else been in the above situation ??

Still with Virgin Mobile and Media. Think it’s this Volt promotion taking users across to O2. My bills still with VM. Have to say though the only reason I’m still with them is because their Wi-Fi is so much better than anyone else, rest is pants, customer service over the years has disappeared from very good to shocking.

Yes, you're right. Although now [last couple of days] have 2 separate contracts, wondering if i can cancel the O2 [14 days stated] without impacting on the Virgin deal.

If you were on deal with VM you should be ok, but I would speak to them first.

I should say I’ve always found their mobile deals very good, Virgin that is.
