That was some strike from Cody Gakpo. Looking at the other teams in the tournament, including Iran this morning, our squad seems devoid of these natural athletes. I jokingly suggested to pals that we should unleash a midfield 3 of Dylan Levitt, Matt Smith and Joe Morrell on Tuesday evening but it then struck me that we just don't seem to have big, strong, athletic players in the squad at all. How would that midfield have coped with the fitness and strength of Iran for example?
