For me he should have started the World Cup, he has every chance of being at the next World Cup if we qualify and is playing regularly in the premier league.

Hennessey was the right choice for me. Danny Ward always makes me feel nervous when he is required to save even the simplest of shots.

that pic looks very similar

though to be fair to Wayne, he had to do something, the player was through going to score, a few mins to go, had to make the " tackle "
on a different day, we defend the free kick and KM goes up the other end and scores and Wayne is a hero

Hennessy pulled off some good saves Tuesday and today before the sending off. He was also arguably man of the match against Ukraine in the play off
final to get us to this World Cup. No problem with his selection ahead of Ward who has never really impressed me at any level, club or country.

He’s playing at Leicester regularly and doing well. He would at least be around in 4 years time.

Well he’ll have the chance to earn his place in the finals in 4 years then won’t he. Having a good month at club level when you’ve hardly played first team
football for 5 years doesn’t warrant taking the jersey off someone who has been in good form for his country and a great servant too.

Perhaps you posted this in the moment…I was mad too, but I stopped and thought about where we are now and where we’ve been in the last 40 years… just be proud of this team that represents a tiny country on the world stage.

Did anyone see the stat. That the USA keeper hasn’t conceded a goal from open play this season (6 games) just 2 pelanties.
