Next match: Pre-season. Saturday, July 11th | FC Midtjylland (H) @ Cardiff City Stadium, 12:30pm -
All pre-season fixtures
.......We CAN beat them. Sides with a lower seedings than us have beaten sides with a higher seeding than England.
We just need to sort our own house out though. Be more compact, provide for each other, pass to each other, keep possession....we have the players to be able to do that. If we give them the ball and try to defend for 85 minutes we are screwed.
I don't know if I can see a draw in the other game though. Especially if we take the lead.
As it stands, I'd imagine Iran will look for a draw. But if we go ahead that game will open right up.

1st paragraph is reasonable. Then it goes wrong. We need to sort our own house to even reasonably compete.

Yes. True. To be competitive.
I think it probably goes wrong after the "We" and before the "need" though to be fair. Sorting our house out is what's going to take some doing.
If I were Page, I'd be phoning up any and every football manager in my contacts with more than 5 years experience and begging them for pointers.
If the coaching staff can come up with a plan I also think the familiarity of the opposition might work out in our favour.
Moreover, I believe England will go into the game feeling pretty confident of qualification regardless of what happens. Which again might be a good thing for us.

Gorra look for the positives.
There are no positives after today and I'm a reasonably optimistic type of person. We have to accept that we've reached the end of our golden era and just hope the next Bale and Ramsey will be along before too long.

We are out.
I just want our young players to get some game time now.
I really hope Page doesnt throw more old guard on as it really will feel like a goodbye tour
