One of the things I like doing in my idle moments is finding video covers of great songs...coupled with finding original videos of the same.
Mostly these are form the sixties...my era.....

Do you think there is any merit in putting these on DVD's and making them available at say £10 each (ten songs) to Download? Copyright has expired on these now....

Where do you get the videos from? Regarding DVD's I'm no expert, but I don't know anybody who still has a DVD player. Streaming is the new game in town, and charity shops are piled high with unwanted DVD's and music CD's.

I think DVD's are dead now mate. I do not even have a device in my house that could play a DVD, not even laptops have DVD slots anymore.

You could make your own youtube channel and upload your videos on there. Creating and managing a youtube channel is a fun little hobby.

I regularly come across extremely niche channels that make you think how on earth as someone thought of that and always surprised to see how they have grown a relatively small but core audience from all over the world that share their interests.

Got rid , for cash , of three quarters of my cd collection but yet to start on my dvds

I use Spotify to stream my metal to speak speakers

What streaming should I use for films and TV? and old comedy and drama ?

Any free ones or is it like music .....Netflix and amazon have the biggest range and you have to pay ?

On Spotify is covers better that originals section, not sure I agree with all of them .

Best cover I've heard are Johnny Cash ' Hurt ' and REM Wichita Lineman

I don't mean PHYSICAL DVD's .....but a downloadable album of songs.......all in one place...not needing to go search for individual titles.....Many covers which are obscure yet very very good! It's just a thought to keep my brain alive....

Try monetising a YouTube channel and also offer downloads.

I tell you what, Chris has a great idea with Youtube for you

its easy enough to do, open a account and upload them

add a subscribe button to get people to subscribe, get over 1000 and you are monetized ( to give you a few beer tokens )

I subscribe to a few disney Vloggers and have watched 2 grow from a few K ( when I 1st started watching them during the 1st lockdown ) to over 150 K now, both doing it as a job now and making decent money
