One of the things I like doing in my idle moments is finding video covers of great songs...coupled with finding original videos of the same.
Mostly these are form the sixties...my era.....

Do you think there is any merit in putting these on DVD's and making them available at say £10 each (ten songs) to Download? Copyright has expired on these now....

Are you sure that the copyright has expired in the original recordings? And are you aware that covers of them recorded at a later date probably have two layers of copyright in them? i.e. from the original recording and another layer of copyright starting on the date of any later version by another artist.

Where do you get the videos from? Regarding DVD's I'm no expert, but I don't know anybody who still has a DVD player. Streaming is the new game in town, and charity shops are piled high with unwanted DVD's and music CD's.

Really? You must have a very small and unusual circle of friends and family.

Yep, especially ones that can be found for free on YouTube.

Do it for fun, don't hope that you'll make even a penny profit out of it, be prepared to get taken down for copyright infringement - and do a bit of research as I'm worried you don't know what DVDs and downloading means :hehe:

I use Spotify to stream my metal to speak speakers

What streaming should I use for films and TV? and old comedy and drama ?

Any free ones or is it like music .....Netflix and amazon have the biggest range and you have to pay ?

Once I got bluetooth speakers that was it

It's such a drag setting up and playing whole albums when sometimes 4 or 5 songs are just fillers

Of course you lose quality but it's getting better
