Is Tomlin the new Bale, or Mick McCarthy the new Mourinho.

Bit odd to be declaring another week’s training has been completed on a Monday morning....

Good question. Been wondering myself. I can only see him as an impact sub, unless someone else can come up with an answer.
Mind you rather have a fit Tomlin in the squad than not.

Surely he just fits in where Wilson is playing, not that you'd drop Wilson.

Probably not but ideal for the bench.

yeah is he mobile enough for this formation is I suppose what I was asking. maybe we will see.

that's also where collwill has been playing for the U21s do perhaps when Wilson and ojo go back we will have Tomlin and collwill covering that position and Murphy/a.n.other on the left?
that's if we persist with the 3-4-3

Have Wilson performed better this season than Tomlin last season?

I think that Wilson is a bit better defensively than Tomlin.

do you think Tomlin if he was fit would have performed as well this season as he did last season?

On past experience you'd have to be more inclined to accept MM's view than Tomlin's.
