For comparison, my Cat 2 ticket for the England match worked out at about £145. Two Wales supporters I spoke to had paid £350 each but weren't sure where in the stadium they would be. £4500 would be roughly 20 seasons of CCFC STs at the older citizen rate. I hope the OP's mate gets a corporate freebie as that is an insane amount to pay otherwise.

Cat3 through FIFA was £500, Cat1 is £1,300. Your mate either bought them on the secondary market or is full of shit.

It does appear excessive, that’s the price on the tickets though, I’m not going to call her out on it. They may well be corporate hospitality. ( even £1,300 is ridiculous)
