Yes, agree with all of this.Originally posted by Mr Soul '68 View PostGood read as always Bob. We both looked like two teams walking into a relegation dogfight. Tan has got to splash the cash this January for a decent striker or we going to be pulled right into one

I change my mind on this all the time, some games we look as if we’ve never kicked a ball before and then some of the counter attacks (including the one on Saturday) make us look like a top six team.Originally posted by Mr Soul '68 View PostGood read as always Bob. I’m really concerned that we will go down, as the apathy that the whole club, including the fans are showing at the moment is concerning. I’m also partially thinking (maybe hoping) that the promise I’ve seen will click consistently and we’ll go on a run.

I don’t think you can look too much into Saturday.Originally posted by Mr Soul '68 View PostGood read as always Bob. We both looked like two teams walking into a relegation dogfight. Tan has got to splash the cash this January for a decent striker or we going to be pulled right into one
A lot of teams struggled due to the break

We need to start winning a few games soon. Draws are no good to us even if they are on the road. We're one of 5 or 6 in the drop zone lottery at the moment and no amount of cool counterattacks can disguise that.Originally posted by UNDERHILL1927 View PostI change my mind on this all the time, some games we look as if we’ve never kicked a ball before and then some of the counter attacks (including the one on Saturday) make us look like a top six team.

We know we're going to leak goals every game with the players we've got.
I just wish it wasn't another unproven manager going into the January window with any cash that Tan does splash.
We have to start winning. Dirty, if necessary.

I think you're right, and we appear to have players that can make a difference.Originally posted by insider View PostI doubt there will be any cash in January with the Sala case hanging over us.
Any improvement will have to come from within.
6 prointer Saturday
I'd like to see both Colwill and Etete start on Saturday
The back 4 will be the 4 that finished the game at Stoke with Odowda at left back.
Ralls Wintle and Rinohota are all hard working midfielders, but none of them are going to open up a defence or play a pass into a frontman and look for a return to bypass a defender.
To improve our position we need to take a more positive approach, starting with Colwill in the first 11, I'd rather keep Odowda further up field but until Bagan is fit again I don't see how we can keep playing a left back that can't defend.

Yes, some of the counter attacks are of a decent side in this division. That's why we need someone to actually put the ball into the back of the net on a regular basis. I can only see West Brom rising up the table under Carlos Corberan, pushing us down another place, closer to the bottom three.Originally posted by UNDERHILL1927 View PostI change my mind on this all the time, some games we look as if we’ve never kicked a ball before and then some of the counter attacks (including the one on Saturday) make us look like a top six team.

If Tan doesn't splash the cash for a good striker, then we may well go down, thus wiping millions off what the club is worth, should Tan decide to sell. It's better for him, and us supporters obviously, if he does decide to part with any money in January. My thoughts are that with a good striker we would easily be mid table come the end of the seasonOriginally posted by insider View PostI doubt there will be any cash in January with the Sala case hanging over us.

I think Robinson is good enough with the right service our problem is a bit of quality needed in the middle .....colwill perhaps ...and a dominant defenderOriginally posted by Mr Soul '68 View PostIf Tan doesn't splash the cash for a good striker, then we may well go down, thus wiping millions off what the club is worth, should Tan decide to sell. Exactly this. The money will be made available. He can't afford for CCFC to go down.Originally posted by Mr Soul '68 View PostIf Tan doesn't splash the cash for a good striker, then we may well go down, thus wiping millions off what the club is worth, should Tan decide to sell.
