Re: Hudson today...
“In the building” and “On the grass” - real David Brent-isms that mean nothing and really irritate me when they say them, especially as there’s a tendency to repeat them several times in the same short interview . I’ve heard a few other managers use them too, must have all been on the same media training courses.
I think we all want Hudson to succeed as we all like what he did as a player here, he comes across as a pleasant , nice guy, just sometimes a little dull and uninspiring in these interviews

I find it funny that so many people seem to get annoyed by this stuff. It isn't like you don't know what is meant by it.Originally posted by Don Corleone View Post“In the building” and “On the grass” - real David Brent-isms that mean nothing and really irritate me when they say them, especially as there’s a tendency to repeat them several times in the same short interview . Re: Hudson today...
Right? Who has time in their life or space in their brain or the energy to get annoyed about such trivial stuff? Football managers talk in cliches. Is this news to anyone?Originally posted by Rjk View PostI find it funny that so many people seem to get annoyed by this stuff. It isn't like you don't know what is meant by it.

Not really, just wished Hudson would be different from the last muppetOriginally posted by NYCBlue View PostRight? Who has time in their life or space in their brain or the energy to get annoyed about such trivial stuff? Football managers talk in cliches. Is this news to anyone?
I'm never expecting a manager to speak the real truth, although it would be funny to hear someone say out of the 17 weve signed we've got 2 full backs that can't trap a bag of cement, a centre half that couldn't control a medicine ball in a phone box, a winger that no else wants, two projects, what the **** am I supposed to do with these, and a number 10, who cant be bloody arsed with a back up keeper that couldn't catch a cold in winter.
Added to that, weve got two league 2 players in Nelson and Whyte and Harris up front ffs
You tell me how its going to work because I'm ****ed if I know😜

Re: Hudson today...
I'd swap him for a set of training cones, and a bag of balls for the academy teamOriginally posted by Ninja View PostTrusts the players not to stab him in the back like he and a few of them probably did to Morison maybe?
As for Ojo, can't we swop him with someone at another club maybe?
