I don't think you have quite factored in the Mbappe timeline. Before the world went to ratshit his new role in a defensive midfield pivot in tandem with Ethan Ampadu was something to behold.

I think any discussion as to the best player in the world is irrelevant until we’ve had the chance to see Ben Davies as a DCM.
