Rumney Legion, being picked up at 6pm. Not a massive fan of the night but we were up there at a do a few months back, they were selling tickets for NYE, a few of us bought them on the spur of the moment. Looking forward to it now, with good company, what’s not to like.

Not my thing NYE, too old for all the partying stuff these days.
Drinks, nibbles, wishing friends happy new years etc, bed probably early-ish, and done.

Getting old gets boring :hehe:

Ah....a good New Years Eve...18 degrees.....outside in my T-shirt...beautiful day....washed the car....cleaned the leaves from the gutters and drains...been watching two PL games......one to come later.
Nibbles......pastries....smoked salmon and cream cheese bellinis......nice wine....and at 75 enjoying life here with my two sons aged 9 and 3....!! What more can one wish for in life?? We don't stay up......

.....NOT boring!!!!

PS: I think a fine Amignac later!!!...and an interesting time with my young Thai wife!!!

Staying in with Mrs M as she has Covid.
Was going to pop out to a neighbours drinks but probably not wise.
Probably order in a meal and hit thr Xmas gin .

Feel for you with the covid fella, we've all had it here too. Seemingly passed now but still after-effects. Hope you're all well soon :thumbup:

I miss a drink at Christmas, but I never enjoyed New Years Eve with its forced jollity even when I was drinking. It’s been a boring, quiet night in for me for about twenty years now with the usual being awoken by the fireworks

Nice, just on the other side, outside Avignon.

Two of my favourite places Biarritz and Avignon, which makes me a touch envious. Usual Saturday night for me. Nice meal cooked by my wife, accompanied by a nice southern Rhone red. Happy new year everyone.

Bath. Food. Bed with snacks. Watch one of the football/a film/a series and fall asleep as late as I possibly can, which I can't see being anywhere near 10.
