Re: Tan & The Board Out

Getting rid of Morison and not giving him time to get the best out of the new signings has proven costly

I'm not overly convinced we wouldn't be in a very similar position with Morison.

Agree with that mate. I honestly felt we were close to clicking, we’ve gone backwards under Hudson

City were one point above the relegation zone when Morison was sacked. Two points above the relegation zone now.

Morison is a major reason we are in this mess. He signed 17 players, and yet Whyte and Harris are starting on a regular basis. He made a royal mess of this summer's transfer window. People say the team is better than last season's as if it is fact, I'm pretty sure that isn't true.

In retrospect, it's interesting to look at the opposition during Morison's ten games, during which the side picked up eleven points. After 26 games, the highest ranked of them is Middlesbrough, who are eighth. We all believed the Norwich result was a big one, but it turns out they're not very good and have been beaten nine times already.

Indeed. Today's starting line-up included Sang, Ng, Wintle, Ralls, Whyte and Harris, none of whom were Morison signings.

Lol. There's nothing good to get out of most of the new signings. That's the problem.

And to be fair that was a smash and grab, if we had played them any other time rather than 1st game of the season i'd say we wouldn't have been so lucky.

                        Room for optimism then

I see some blogs are linking David Sullivan again, who’ll sell his West Ham shares during the first half of 2023

The source being a delusional pine salesman though? Albeit a West Ham fan…..someone who at least has a clue how to run a club but why would he want more hassle with his millions in his latter years?
