Re: Will Vaulks today
Vaulks has started 14 of Wednesday’s 25 League One games this season and has made 8 sub appearances. As was the case during his time here, he’s not an automatic first choice for their midfield.Originally posted by tomcat View PostGetting plaudits for how he played ....

Ummm, I think you meant Newcastle , perfect game for Vaulks, run around and get stuck in.Originally posted by tomcat View PostAgainst Coventry though...
However, I suspect McGuinness maybe rueing the recall clause in his loan this morning.
As for Newcastle……
Eddie Howe …” Maybe the starting line up wasn’t right but we only have a small squad here so it is about protecting the players “
Really Eddie , that’s the best you can say when you started a striker you paid £70 million for in summer, it was hardly Newcastle United youth !! ….

Re: Will Vaulks today
He wasn't even a Water Carrier in my opinion, more like a pissed Labourer with a wonky Wheelbarrow.Originally posted by chrisp_1927 View PostTo be fair Vaulks wasn't horrendous. The problem was more that all our midfielders were the same. All water carriers, no artists.

Re: Will Vaulks today
He couldn't pass or tackle properly, and didn't have much of a brain. But he was capable of the occasional goal. I think most of the people that rate him are still stuck on that flashy video of him banging in 40-yarders for Rotherham. He didn't even make a Wales quad that featured a player from a mid table 4th Division team.
