Everyone was really upbeat .....then really pissed off following the news we were moving forward but then standing still again

I may be wrong, but isn't the club faced with a one-off, 1st time ever situation ? I'm not so sure many other clubs would be fully up to speed with the minutia of the whole sage.

How the embargo came about, fair enough.

They had a meeting with the club together with the supporters club

Yesterday on the internet it was said that the club was going to pay the sala bill on Wednesday

Understandably people were relieved

The trust later said that this was not evident in the meeting so it was clear that at present that claim was incorrect

And this was confirmed by the trust

What fault is this of the trust ?

The do not hold the club to account. She might have liked the limelight but give me Sian Branston any day, at least she had a bit of gumption about her and wasnt afraid to speak out against the club, get protests organised.etc

Compare them to Merthyr Town, or Wrexham supporters, who actually run their owners out of town and took over their football clubs and our trust is one in name only. All fur coat and no nickers.

I don't know so much. I always found she'd get herself in a bit of a pickle.

I don't know Merthyr's situation but Wrexham fans only needed to stump up £100k to take over the club. That's about a tenner per fan. That wouldn't cover a week of wages down the City.

I liked sian . I have no idea where she is now , have not seen her for ages .

Was at several protests that were organised , not all by her . The event at the corporation was excellent .

I would vote for her if she ran for election to the trust .

There is a massive amount of money involved in this football club . I don't think we are in a position to run tan out of town unless we have a buyer .

How would you suggest the trust deals with the situation we find ourselves in ?

I think the plight of the club is so serious someone will be organising attempts to force Tan to leave sooner or later.

I'm pretty sure Tan would jump at the opportunity to sell if a sensible offer was made. I doubt any will be forthcoming with the £20m Sala liabilty still pending - not to mention the other debts to Tan etc.

Well hes going to have to write them off, that much is clear. We are sleep walking into a Bolton / Coventry / Pompey situation.

In a nutshell

Well Cardiff are a sleeping giant. 60,000 fans x £300 each. Thats 18 million to cover the Sala debacle and Tan can sling his hook for the rest.
