      I think that tv companies are contractually committed to showing a replay if they show the first game live.

        It would be interesting to know how much the two ties are worth to the club, in total. Ticket sales, TV rights, etc.

              Never heard of that. In Jan 2020 Newcastle vs Rochdale replay wasn't shown live despite the first tie being live. BT Sport showed Boro vs Spurs yet BBC showed the replay. I understand that TV companies can choose what replays to broadcast.
