        Simon Jordan on talk shite was crunching the numbers and said it works well, costs about the same without paying a huge transfer fee and you don't see your asset depreciating month on month.

            I was thinking the same, 11 million for half a season, they'd be delighted to get that player for 66 million on a 3 season deal so you can see the logic.

            of course there's no residual value at the end of the contract though
