I received my sisters cards (from UK to France) on Monday. Others I know have sent them have not been received.
Cards I have sent to UK have not been received.
Bloody Post Office.....if I was in the UK I would take to small claims court for breach of contract....!!! (ie I paid but you did not provide he service...), out of principle.

I’ve had three this week
I had deliveries on the 29th and 30th and thought that was bad.
Worst one was posted 1st class on 21st and delivered to me on 30th - addressed for a house three streets away!
I had to return my driving licence and posted it 1st class signed for on the 19th December. They got it this morning. Not that it matters as the DVLA staff are on strike this week.

I've learnt a lesson recently about postage. I posted a £50 gift card on Tuesday 21 December 1st Class Signed For to go to an address near Monmouth. I paid for the postage online and took my tracking number. As I was without a car at the time and the weather was poor I posted the item in the local post box rather than take it to a Post Office counter. That was the mistake. It cannot be tracked because it was only placed in the post box. If you enter the tracking number into the Royal Mail website it simply says "An update will only be provided when we attempt to deliver your item". I have no insurance as I have no proof of posting although Royal Mail did refund the £2.35 postage cost by was of 8 1st Class stamps. I've had to order another gift card and I've well and truly learnt a lesson about putting my trust in the "Signed For" service.
