    Re: New Manager Odds

Warnock 10/11 this morning. Whitehead drifted to 6/1. No move for anyone else.

So we know Warnock isnt coming. The market suggests the board have nobody lined up.

Is it a case of lets see how Whitehead does?

Of course the board haven't got anyone lined up. The board haven't got a plan A, let alone anything else.

You’d think Dalman might care somewhat, hasnt he loaned us £30/40 million apparently? Maybe he doesn’t want it back like Tan?

Isn't Dalman involved in the world of used cars? I wonder how many cars he's bought for big money and let them be given away free because they weren't good enough to sell?

Wilder was linked with Pompey, we are a more attractive option than them. His reputation has taken a significant hit after Boro but he's done extremely well everywhere else. He is a no brainer for me.
Agreed, best option IMO, but I think it will be Warnock till the end of the season.

From the timing last week I can only assume Gareth Bale is heading here as manager

                    Re: New Manager Odds

Prompted by a reference in a WOL article I had a look at the history of Darrell Clarke as a manager - albeit lower links but an interesting CV and I heard a port Vale fan on the radio last week who was pleasantly surprised at how they are doing this season after promotion league one

Depends what we are looking for in terms of having belief in someone for more than a nano second

Bamba odds have shortened a bit, can’t see that, at least hope not.

Warburton odds dropped as well I think or at least he’s moved up on the list, could be an option.

Take a bit of dough to get him on board.

Could be reminiscent of the Herbert Merrett days:getscoat:

                              Do we really knead him?

Why not? He has to earn a crust.
