        Re: Sabri Lamouchi?

I've said it before on here, but it's worth repeating. I'm convinced that at some stage, Tan and Dalman asked Warnock who they should have as the next manager, if he was to retire. And he said "Oh, you know, you want someone like me - McCarthy or Harris, someone like that". And they took him at his word, and appointed the two of them, one after the other. Thing is, once they'd used all the names on the list, they were stuck. They didn't have a clue who to appoint next, and so we entered the realms of fantasy, with Morison, Hudson and Whitehead.
So I guess you could say Warnock's advice wasn't that great, if indeed that's what happened.
But the point is, if they don't know who to appoint, they should ask someone who at least has some idea.

why do so many people on here always invent some scenario they have absolutely no idea if it's true or not, then use that to complain about the club. there's plenty of stuff we do know you.can have a moan about, why the need to invent more

So he's a great manager with no money, until he has to use his skills with no mo way to stay up. Got it.

Or look at in another way :
Malky lot more investment finished 20th , bolted to the bottom , winning 7 games , doomed weeks before the end of the season .

NW : much less investment in the Premiership , nearly survived went to the wire ,won 10 games , 2 clubs relegated before us .. dreadful bad luck season ,the effects of the Sala to managed ( which could not have been easy for the squad ) felt we were robbed v Chelsea , the game with Leicester was hugely emotional day and all were effected by the death of the owner and 4 others associated to he club I think it was Leicester's first game after that tragedy .. winning MUFC was something else . bet he wished he had left after that game at the age of 70 .. loved his era , crap now

At the time I felt that Leicester game must have been terribly difficult for our team, they were faced with a huge group from Leicester around the centre circle pre kick off as the owner was remembered. I know we are talking professional footballers but surely that would be intimidating? Obviously respects needed to be paid but I thought the rest of their squad, etc. should have stayed on the touchline

So he didn't keep us up.

Why do people thing of a thousand ways to dress shit up. He didn't keep us up. That's what matters and the only way it needs to be looked at.

I was at that game. An incredibly intense and difficult occasion. There is no way we could have won (despite outplaying them for large parts of the game) nor probably in some respects, wanted to.
