When we played Barnsley in the FA Cup semi, my boss Steve Lansdown, who owned/owns Bristol City, gave me his two Club Wembley tickets as he "wasn't interested in watching us" 😂 Can't remember the name of them, Centurion Club or something, cost £10k each. Seats right next to the Royal box, free food and drink all day, waiter service, a parking space, etc. I gave them to my wife and son and kept the seat I bought beforehand in the stand. Can't see how you can enjoy a game involving your own club sat among people who aren't very interested.
What's wrong with the rabble? Sounding like a posh Tory Sludge 🙂
I like the rabble element. Adds to the currently minimal entertainment level.
I like the lack of queue for the toilets. Love the lack of queue for the bar. Can take or leave the comfy seat but hate the silence in the game.
Although at the moment that’s the same everywhere.

This for me is what it’s like watching in a box. I’ve entertained there a few times before and found that lots of people don’t even go back out after half time and are just there for the mini bar
I used to get into the Glamorgan Suite at the Ice Hockey when it was in town.
My neighbours were the Cooper brothers
Me and the Mrs weren’t interested in the hockey in the slightest
Free food and as much booze as you wanted lol 🥳🍺🥃🍷

Corinthians Club - that's where I watched the game.
Amazing view, great food and drink - no atmosphere whatsoever.
I was near a few Barnsley fans a couple of rows behind me, but nobody else within 20 seats in any direction had the slightest bit of interest in who won or lost. And probably 30% of them didn't re-emerge after half time.

On a far more modest level, a colleague of mine in Taunton was the lino for a Bournemouth v City game some years ago. I travelled down with him and but shorty before kick-off l sought permission to leave the VIP seat I was allocated near the top brass in the grandstand and walk to the other side of the ground (and via the perimter of the pitch itself) to join the great unwashed. However, I popped back to the VIP lounge at half-time for the scran rather than partake of a meat pie on the terraces - and I returned to the horde for the second half.
In the top tier, yes. It’s a good height but a lot further forward than rows X and beyond in the rest of the stadium.
In the bit just below it’s no different view to being halfway up the Ninian Stand.
I remember reading a while back one of the possible stadium expansion plans was have the main stand second tier above the Canton and Grange stands which is why there’s such a big gap between the back row and the roof.
After seeing the Ninian extension though I’m not sure if that’s still the case.
