But surely most who would be protesting are only protesting because we are doing crap at the mo ( if we were in a shout of the play-offs then people wouldn't be protesting ), why would they want to protest when most know that this isnt what the team need right now

it doesnt take any sense

Because something has to change. If we were challenging for the playoffs, that would mean the club was making smart decisions about the football club. We have a chairman who was surprised last season that the football side of things was taking up so much of his time.
