I was there. I honestly thought we were going to get 10. Pity we eased off after 6, there was a lot of time left.

On the coach waiting behind the away end (coming back) I listened to the Radio Brizzle (or some such) phone in. The carrot crunchers who called in were suicidal.

Those were the days….I’d rather watch that team and the ones who failed to get promotion in 2010 than any other team since.
Can’t find any footage of the 1-0 playoff win v the wurzels in 2003, peter Thorne goal? Can barely remember it or the chaos afterwards

I was there, made even better by working in our Bristol office at the time. Ranks amongst my favourite away trips, along bizarrely with a 3-0 away at Southend, where every touch the likes of McPhail, Ledley and Scimeca took oozed class. That's how I remember it anyway :hehe:
