Phil Bater and Simon Lappin got sent off on their debuts - just saying like.

I thought that was Lappin's last game as well as his first, but Wikipedia says he played 2 games for City

Paul Went . Gave away a penalty and scored an own goal I think in the first 20 minutes of his debut v Bolton

As we count down to Sory Kaba firing us to glory at Hull, what goal scoring debutants do you remember?

For me:

Ritchie Humphies at the double v Colchester 1999

Dion Burton’s brilliant brace v Torquay

The great Leo Fortune-West with his backside v Halifax

And, of course, Uche at Barnsley a year ago today

Looks like we’ll have to wait for Kaba to be a debut hero.

Doncaster. Yes, it was his debut. A right exocet of a free kick which didn't look like (from my angle) it was going in then seemed to take a sudden change in direction in mid air. A good way to celebrate my 50th.
