Fair play, Wrexham got done by going for the win. Sickener for the second pen. Their defence switched off though at vital moments. Good effort though, two cracking ties and they can concentrate on the league now. Spurs at home may have become the Lord Mayor’s Show and taken their eye off the main prize.
the romance of the cup is fading as every year passes
Reverse of the Champions League, the excitement in the FA Cup tends to wane as the tournament progresses, whereas the Champions League only begins to pick up steam in the semi-final round
Billy Sharp puts Wrexham in their place, seems they chirped a bit too prematurely pre match. Although he wished them well in their promotion push that was a ‘F*ck ‘em, the cheeky twats’ interview post match.
Two cracking games. Especially given Wrexham’s injury list. A great effort. Mullin’s hamstring looked borderline. They’ll need him for the rest of the season. He was taking the piss out of one of the best defences in the Championship.

Good observation. I watched Dynamo Kievs home games in the CL this season and the standard was poor. I know they were playing in Lodz rather than Kiev but the standard of football wasn’t inspiring.
