Better to lose 3-1 pushing for an equaliser at 2-1, than to sit back and bow out gracefully.

Fair play, Wrexham got done by going for the win. Sickener for the second pen. Their defence switched off though at vital moments. Good effort though, two cracking ties and they can concentrate on the league now. Spurs at home may have become the Lord Mayor’s Show and taken their eye off the main prize.

Two very good games for the neutral, far more entertaining than many bigger games I've seen in recent years.

Feel a bit gutted for Wrexham, felt they should have kept Mullin on though. Every major threat was going through him.

Two cracking games. Especially given Wrexham’s injury list. A great effort. Mullin’s hamstring looked borderline. They’ll need him for the rest of the season. He was taking the piss out of one of the best defences in the Championship.

Good observation. I watched Dynamo Kievs home games in the CL this season and the standard was poor. I know they were playing in Lodz rather than Kiev but the standard of football wasn’t inspiring.
