I remember it happening.There was also some controversy at the time with accusations of Raquel Welch trying to upstage the bride at the wedding. Always going to be a problem with someone as spectacularly good looking as Raquel. The unlikely link between down to earth Yorkshire fast bowler Fred Trueman and Hollywood star Raquel Welch became a pub quiz question.
