It's true

Under dave Jones we had that black fella up front , ex England player , Micheal something

He wasn't very good but that wasn't the point

We were in the ninian park car park waiting for a burger pre game

On the Tuesday night he had missed a penalty given when Cameron Jerome was pulled down

A feeble effort

Anyway someone remarked that our fella must not be allowed to take any more penalties ......which we all agreed with

My then mates old man said , which was a lovely contribution ........

That fecking ***** has been eating too much jungle food the black etc etc

So I pissed off to the ground

That's what happened stan me old chum

Nice one , Its story likes this that gives one hope that we can breath life back into the CCMB .

I wish Mike would organise an end of the year awards scheme for the board ,this could fit well into a category called ""lets say as it is "

Ricky Gervais notwithstanding, it should be clear to anyone who's posted on here for more than, say, a decade that this forum has become a nastier, less civilised and more intolerant place and I say that as someone who has, from time to time, contributed towards the board's decline.

Not that I'm ageist or anything but this place has skewed more "old and angry" in recent years. All the young'uns took their posting talents to twitter.

This is still the best City forum though and it's not even close.
