Probably not as there was usually a week between games, but at Christmas teams played Christmas Day and Boxing Day, or the day after if one was a Sunday. In 1921/22 and 1922/23 City actually played West Brom at Christmas over consecutive days, so I'd be surprised if they didn't travel up and down together. Presumably the fixture placed two sides relatively close together..Quote:
