Ages that you've perceived incorrectly- toshack and Southgate

Random thought and I don't expect any replies in this thread. Gareth Southgate is 54 and normally seen as quite a modern coach and quite young in relative terms.

John toshack when he took wales first time was about 44 and then 54 when he took over the 2nd time.

Yet tosh was kind of perceived as a dinosaur by that time and was ridiculed for his outdated methods etc..... seen more as a Roy Hodgson type in his 70s.

Not sure why i thought of this but any other people you can think of who are generally perceived as being older or younger than they are?

Jesper Daland is 25, so this checks out even when we're playing teenagers

Tony Mowbray is 61. He’s been 60 for the past 15 years I reckon.

Those who remember him as a player may not be suprised by that but that one never seems right to me.
I thought he was early 30s when he had success at Newcastle and Norwich etc in the 2010s. Whats his secret?!

Another one is ian Wright now is older than mick mccarthy was when he became our manager.
