Bit underwhelming, hopefully a few surprises.

Yeah, and you're a great debater aren't you.
Still making stuff up with no proof?

Also, you have criticised Tan for not spending money in this debate, so that's two things.
You've provided figures that show we would be at least a few million below the £39 million three year rolling figure.
Probably a fair few million now we have cut the wage bill.
I mentioned trying to get Moore on loan. You said we couldn't because of FFP which is nonsense. We could afford a loan fee should we be able to.
It is impossible, you're right.
You're the only one who came up with the notion they would only sell him.
It's all nonsense anyway. We're getting nobody.

We don't have much wiggle room. We cannot continually lose money and we don't get any parachute payments. We don't know how much we lose but given we continuously hit the FFP limit, the problem isn't the money Tan has put in. Finally, why the hell would they loan out Moore? He started their last game for crying out loud. If he went, they'd get £5m plus for him. We cannot afford that.
I'm not engaging with this any more but not signing Moore is the last thing you should be annoyed about.

I was making a point that we could pay a loan fee, if we could pay one and if they wanted to loan him out.
What you provided wasn't proof that we didn't have the money under FFP regulations. That was all I was saying.
You started the mention of a £5million deal then tried to prove that. Nobody mentioned the idea we would re-sign Moore permanently but you.
I think if we could sign somebody on loan with a fee we would be able to afford the fee asked for Kieffer Moore. You don't. Your figures don't prove it though. If anything they prove that we could afford it. Should Tan want to or be able to pay it.

Re: Transfer deadline day Tuesday 11pm...rumours
I assumed the stuff about us resigning Keiffer Moore was a joke and my one contribution before now on it reflected that - cloud cuckoo land stuff.

No, you wilfully misinterpreted what I said to slag off Tan.

This must be the most pointless 'debate' you've engaged in yet. Moore couldn't wait to get his lanky arse out of here last year. He's now a Premier League player and played the full 90 minutes for Bournemouth in their last game ten days ago. The chances of him coming back here now are absolute zero. End of story.

Where have I slagged him off?
We mismanaged the embargo. That's as much as I can slag Tan off in this whiole debate.
I said he could pay a loan fee and stay on the right side of FFP regulations.
I think your proof proves exactly that.
Your figures show around £25 million debt over two years leaving around £14 million using the figures you provided. Even if the loan fee was say a million we'd still be comfortably under £39m. Remember I didn't say we would sign him outright.

Yet you decide to get involved again?
Surely you've got some more insightful posts to add elsewhere than get involved in my pointless debate?

Re: Transfer deadline day Tuesday 11pm...rumours
Why do so many threads on here now descend into petty name calling and arguments? Is it a reflection of what we see on social media of late where people can’t have a debate from different viewpoints?
-
Re: Transfer deadline day Tuesday 11pm...rumours
Over 200 posts on a thread about deadline day rumours and we still haven't signed anyone.
Might as well close the thread now as it all seems a bit pointless.

Most of it nonsense about Tan which could have and probably has been done elsewhere.
Shame.

Re: Transfer deadline day Tuesday 11pm...rumours
Let's get it right, I didn't say he would come here.
I said what I would do. What's the worst that could happen?
Nothing ventured and all that.
My responses are to the assumption that we purely couldn't afford it even if we could pay a loan fee.
It turns out Pedro was talking about a permanent deal when I said approach Bournemouth to loan Moore anyway. I'm the one who purposely misinterpreted it though apparently, despite it being my initial post that mention Moore and offering to loan him.

We're not doing anything anyway are we?
Radio silence at the club again.

Not sure, probably not but be easier to know if we could just read this thread for transfer deadline day? Agree?

I've remained respectful throughout.
I don't think the figures prove we couldn't afford a loan fee, as pie in the sky as getting Moore would be.
TLG comes in again all high and mighty as ever casting judgment on threads and posts like some award winning poster. I'm not sure I could measure the size of his ego if I tried.

You have missed the point.
Nevermind, I’m sure people will post new threads for new signings. Enjoy and well done.
