Someone doubted the site that posted the link, but ex poster on here Lawnmower said they'd been accurate so far this summer, so I'd take that as a sign that it's not another of those wind up sites.

Pretty much, especially if you get lucky with a few, you are forever then one of the in the knows. Just delete the ones you get wrong, or pass it off as "it's a fluent market, people change their minds"

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
Seems to be a lack of enthusiasm about Calum Chambers
Personally I think it’s an fantastic signing

He posts a lot on Twitter as well as on here once in a while. He and his family had a rough time of it with Covid apparently.

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
Wales youth international, Hayden Allmark (16) has joined Cardiff City from Liverpool

Re: The Transfer Window Rumours thread
I have absolutely no basis for this rumour but noticed that Mohamed Eleny is a free agent at 31 and played alongside Chambers and Rambo for a few years. Let's get the band back together.....oh and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlin (double points for Turkish and Rambo connection)

Elneny is busy, he's setting up Elneny FC, where he is owner, manager, coach, sings the theme tune etc..

He was showing as a Cardiff player when he played for Wales u16s a while back but nothing had been announced. Good to see it's official now.

I guess people aren't sure what to expect. Chambers' career has clearly gone backwards during the last few seasons and it's not clear why.
He made nine Premier League starts for Villa in 2021/22, but only two in 2022/23 and just one in 2023/24 - a 5-0 defeat at Crystal Palace on the final day of the season (he was subbed on 68 minutes with the score at 4-0).
Chambers is obviously a decent player by Championship standards, but he hasn't played much football at all in recent years. City are clearly pushing the boat out in terms of wages this summer, so it will be interesting to see where he figures in Bulut's plans. Chambers won't be coming here to sit on the bench, so does he replace McGuinness at centre-half or Ng at right-back?

Yes,Villa have released him from his contract.so we pay nothing.
Not bad for a player valued at 4 million pounds on Transfermarkt.

Two questions from me (not to you, but in general):
Why have Villa decided to release an asset that might be worth £4m (though I don't care much for Transfermarkt's valuations anyway)?
Which Championship sides has he turned down to join us?

Meite , Romeo , Rino have a combined value of over 3m on Transfermarket.
I'm certain we'd allow Romeo and Rino to go for free and probably Meite as well. (we certianly would accept an offer of a fraction of his 1.5m value)
Chambers turned down WBA in January.

He had one year left on a supposed 50k a week, I guess he was paid up so free to see who wanted him. His value is zero as now out of contract. Who else went for him, well we don’t know the same as most transfers.

If we got a penny for them or Robinson I would be amazed.

For the four of them combined, anyone offering a penny would want change, and they’d be entitled to it.

I certainly hope it's not to replace McGuiness. Before his injury was for me the only player who looked like he could play at a higher level.
