Nyakuhwa and Mafico have been shown on the First Team pages on the club website since the start of the season.
Giles has shown on the u21 pages.
But I'm sure Giles has been involved in First team training for at least 10 days (coach shouting instructions to 'Luey').

Has Giles been injured?
If not Mafico being a midfielder getting selected before him may mean that BBM hasn't been impressed by him?
I wonder if he gets selected tonight. Hes not in the u21 squad.
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Performance bearing very little resemblance to the commentary at the moment, 1-0 down and City haven’t got going yet.
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
A 1-1 draw for the under 18s at Wrexham, Thomas Prickett with our goal.
Under 21s 1-0 down to Wigan at half time.
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
0 - 2 Wigan lead.
That was a 'playing out from the back' gift!
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
First playing out from the back goal conceded by City, young keeper Sam Jones to blame I’m afraid, 0-2.
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Great free kick by Jac Thomas makes it 2-1, but it’s too late surely to spark a fight back. Unfortunately, the quality of the free kick was out of keeping with their performance - just finished, 2-1 to Wigan and it was more comfortable than that really.

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Lots of City players in the Wales youth squads announced over the past 2 days with the u21s still to come.
Wales u17s - Tankiewicz, Norris, Papirnyk
Wales u18s - Williams, Tobin, Allmark, Sykes
Wales u19s - Thomas, Barton
7 City Players made the u16s squad (didn't realise it went down that far!) according to this, great website for all things Wales: https://dragonsoccer.co.uk/newsite/index.php?id=1107

Tankiewicz being talked up a lot lately, like what I’ve seen of Papirnyk.
That was unlucky, losing the penalty shoot out after drawing 2-2 with Japanese.
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Luey Giles, Luke Armstrong, Joel Colwill, Cian Ashford & Tanatswa Nyakuhwa in the Wales u21 squad alongside City old boy Biancheri whilst his fellow old boy Benjamin misses out through injury
I make that 23 current City players across the u16-senior squads? Not bad going!

Very impressive.
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
A 3-1 win for the under-18s at Fleetwood today, Mannie Barton with two and Jack Sykes with the other.
