but yeah, going back to the football, they are in deep shizer and to be honest its 50-50 with Rooney. Either he's there, committed and really wants to prove himself as a manager, grabbing the challenge he faces.......or they just can't afford to pay him off. Either way he'll come out smelling of roses, he always does.
Crumpets are not very curvy ,mine are usually round with holes in em

didn't realise it was as bad as this.
According to this, they currently have no centre backs, one striker who is 34, and only 13 senior players, of which their two most valuable are out on long term injury.
Krystian Bielik apparently they paid over 7 million for 2 seasons ago.
Max Bird, Jason Knight and Louie Sibley are all fairly highly rated prospects.

It's a fustercluck for sure.
Re: Derby County - Imploding!
Apparently if they fill the matchday squad with youth players tomorrow then they have to register them as professionals and thereby reducing the amount of senior players they can bring in in the coming weeks.
All has to be sorted by noon today so players registered in time to play.

Apparently all the trialists haven't trained today and are looking for other clubs... Going well.

Report claims they have re-signed 36 year old Curtis Davies whose contract expired at the start of the summer and also goalkeeper Ryan Alsop. It also confirms that many if not all of the trialists are looking for other clubs. That's one centre back then....
It's like watching a car crash in slow motion.

It's going to be like watching a cup game (League Cup?) where mixture of veterans, first team players not really wanting to be there and kids try to win the game.
They won't be as bad as people think but has anyone looked up record low Championship points total so to see if Derby might be claiming that record as well soon?
Rotherham 23 points in 2016-17 according to Wiki. It's unlikely but still worth watching out for.

they already hold the record for the lowest premier League points total, they could go for the double

If they had any ambition they'd be planning now for the treble at the end of 2022-23. What is the League 1 lowest points total?

Shouldn't laugh
"Rooney himself has been training with the first team to make up the numbers but even that move backfired on the club when he injured Jason Knight in training, ruling the midfielder out for three months."
😂

He was still p1ssed from the night before, after being photographed with those three beauties
Re: Derby County - Imploding!
Derby have also signed Richard Stearman today (released this summer by Huddersfield) so they now have 2 CBs in the twilight of their careers.
Rooney has told David Marshall that he is now 3rd choice keeper(after Roos and Allsop). Surely that means he has to leave Derby if he wants to keep his Scotland shirt?

Re: Derby County - Imploding!
I bet it all gets sorted by the time we come to play them....
Re: Derby County - Imploding!
conceded 2 in injury time today to lose 2-1 .
and had a bad injury to their only remaining senior striker

From following the game it doesn’t seem bad so probably will be back soon
I don’t think they’re certs for relegation
